Suturing at URMC

On January 24th, MAPS members visited the University of Rochester's Medical Center to learn how to suture on pig skin! Multiple med-students taught members how to stitch using either the continuous or interrupted method. The continuous method involved only using a single strand of nylon, while the interrupted method involves the disconnect of nylon string producing multiple knots to close the wound. This was an overall fun, and educative experience.
