Mindfulness GIM
Our last GIM before Thanksgiving break was the Mindfulness workshop. Stress levels increase due to the fact that finals are approaching and all the deadlines are creeping. It is very easy for pre-med students to forget about their mental health during these times. In this workshop, we learned the importance of taking time to meditate, eat healthy, and sleep enough. It might also be helpful to visit the University Counseling Center (UCC) for indeividual or group therapies.
