Big-Sib Lil-Sib

Last Saturday, MAPS had it's biggest event of the year, Big-Sib Lil-Sib, which is an opportunity for pre-med students to get paired up with a medical student who will be their mentor for Life. MAPS recognizes that this is a very important relationship to build so we planned a very fun and relaxed event for everyone to start getting to know each other. Our lovely President Veronica's Grandma was kind enough to fly from NYC and cook and setup delicious food for all of us. It felt like Thanksgiving came early to Rochester. There was also Kahoot games which tested our members' knowledge about the MCAT, pop culture, and general knowledge. There were three rounds of questions and the winner teams were awarded MCAT prep books. Beside all the food and games everyone looked very happy to be there and there was no awkward silence within each group which was what we aimed for. Overall, it was a very successful event and the following pictures are a proof of that.
