This week's meeting started of with an informational presentation on the Peace Corps and the two years of experience it can offer in health or education in many places around the world. For more information go to the peace corps website. After that we proceeded to talk about summer health internship opportunities. From the National Institutes of Health to Columbia university our MAPS members discussed their experiences in a competitive internship environment, making connections and learning new things. For more information on the specific internships here is a link to all internships mentioned, with information on the program itself and how to apply. Overall another very successful meeting.
