FIRST GIM OF 2018/2019

Last saturday was the first GIM of the 2018-2019 school year. The E-board went over their responsibilities, and Josephine (President) also explained the role of the Freshman Outreach Chair. To alter the format, Josephine and Isabella (Vice President) posted multiple questions for members to answer about E-board Members. Freshmen were stunned to learn how many similarities and differences there were in each E-Board Member’s pursuit to medicine.

Veronica (Campus Community Liaison) aspires to be an OB/GYN, while Toyo (Business Manager) would love to become a Cardiologist or an Orthopedic Surgeon. Some fun facts included: Kadiatou (Secretary) has 8 siblings, Victoria (Community Service Chair) loves Hippos, Josephine loves Red Pandas, Isabella cannot get enough of her minions- I mean, the color yellow, and Toyo loves wolves.

Now that the first years have gotten a fairly good sense of MAPS, we hope this year will be as fruitful as possible!
