Big Sib Lil' Sib 2015
The Big Sib Lil’ Sib event is an annual social gathering held between MAPS members and the SNMA (Student National Medical Association) members at the University of Rochester Medical Center. The goal of the event is to serve dedicated and gifted students by helping them succeed through mentorship. This event provides an opportunity for MAPS members to connect with different medical students at the U of R medical school. It is an excellent way to create a relationship with someone who can relate to your experiences and support you in your endeavors.
Big Sib Lil’ Sib aims to provide a form of motivation, encouragement, and a support network for our members. Every undergraduate is matched to a specific medical student and everyone is encouraged to keep in touch! Being able to communicate with your matched medical student and having plans and questions ahead of time is what’s considered to be a successful match.
